PRODUCTION ASSISTANT
Type: Full Time Permanent & Part-Time Permanent
Pay Structure: Hourly + Commision
Job Description:
This is an excellent full time opportunity in a professional environment that involves the operation of computers, plotters, laminators, large format digital and UV flatbed printers as well as any hands-on involvement for the conversion of vinyl products for application on a variety of commercial/passenger vehicles. Additional duties may include design and manufacture for vehicle wraps & promotional campaigns, trade show prints, decals and a variety of miscellaneous signs. Strong emphasis on willingness, motivation and positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and problem solve meeting strict deadlines.
Qualifications:
Minimum experience in such duties above is a prerequisite as a base for further training. Must have knowledge of design software such as Corel Draw, Photoshop, Illustrator as well as production and RIP software such as or similar to Flexi, Raster Link and Omega. Qualified applicants should provide a current portfolio for review and will be asked to participate in a “hands-on” creative evaluation.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Type: Full Time Permanent and Part-Time Permanent
Pay Structure: Hourly + Commision
Job Description:
Decals and Signs is requiring a highly creative and professional Graphic Designer experienced in the layout and design for custom vinyl graphics and signs for national and local accounts. Projects include, but are not limited to, custom designing vehicle wraps and promotional campaigns involving trade show displays, storefront applications and general signage.
Some of the duties also include concept development, duplicating, creating and preparing electronic files for production and planning manufacture for most effective use of material.
Qualifications:
Minimum Certificate in Graphic Design or Visual Communications, supplemented with minimum of two years industry related work experience. Applicant must have extensive understanding of the technical and working aspects relating to design software and involved hardware including color management. Attention to detail and understanding the relationship between both creativity and practical application is essential. Strong communication and organization skills are required and the applicant must be comfortable with multi-tasking and meeting multi-project deadlines. Qualified applicants should provide a current portfolio for review and will be asked to participate in a “hands-on” creative evaluation.

VINYL GRAPHIC INSTALLER
Type: Full Time Permanent + Part Time Permanent

Job Description:
Decals and Signs is requiring a professional Vinyl Graphic Installer experienced in the cleaning, preparing, application and installation of custom vinyl graphics and signs on a variety of types of vehicles and substrates. Duties may be performed on or off site within but not limited to the greater Edmonton area. Projects include, but are not limited to, vehicle wraps, fleet branding, general signage and any industry related hardware if required.
Qualifications:
3M Advanced Installation Certificate supplemented with minimum of two years industry related work experience. Applicant must have extensive understanding of preparation and installation processes. Attention to detail of layouts, etc. essential. Strong communication and organization skills are required and the applicant must be comfortable with meeting project deadlines. Qualified applicants should provide a current portfolio for review and will be asked to participate in a “hands-on” creative evaluation.
